Yes; this is still present in Tomboy 1.0.0-0ubuntu2 (the version in Karmic). Typing at a normal rate still chews CPU, and the process sometimes spikes CPU usage and becomes nonresponsive. It doesn't seem to do it quite as much as it did before, but it's still present. ** Changed in: tomboy
