I reported a duplicate of this bug, and then I saw that was filed here as well.
Anyway, as Reinhard said, with the debdiff attached in this bug, it still does
not build.
Here's my debdiff (copied from the duplicate...) that fix the also the
dependency from a networked environment.

I think this will still FTBFS on ubuntu's buildds because of
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=525277.
Have you tried to build the package in a non-networked environment like
a PPA?
