I have created a version of the wine1.2 package that includes a native
PulseAudio driver for wine. This packaged is targeted at the Karmic
distribution, so if you are testing out the new release can you try this
package and see if it improves the Wine sound on Ubuntu for you.
If you try it, can yo
Note that once you install the package you will need to configure Wine
to use the PulseAudio driver.
Select 'Configure Wine' from Applications menu.
Click the audio tab.
Select the PulseAudio Driver and deselect the one you are currently using.
Click apply.
Click Test Sound and if you hear a nois

This patch to Wine works perfectly
I can successfully run WoW, Ventrillo & any number of native apps at the
same time
Can we please get this patch into the main wine1.2 package? as the
pulseaudio driver for Wine fixes all the little problems I had
