Public bug reported:

i compile kde from sources , in addition to having kde 4.2.2 installed
for normal work..

the following problem arises :
soprano-backend-sesame , pulls  libsoprano-dev as dependency , and if the dev 
package is installed, the kde sources try to use this soprano package , and not 
the package from kdesupport which is also compiled by hand (kdesvn-build 
script) - this breaks compilation

could the DEV dependency made optional ?
