I have a similar problem. When Gwibber starts up or fetches the message
list, it prints out below error message on console _ I ran it with -v -d
options.
image_cache HTTP Error 404: Not Found whilst fetching

gwibber. if you are on jaunty and cannot try karmic check-out the daily

I get the same problem, the profile I'm following is this one
http://twitter.com/renartleveille, and yes, the profile image has a _
in it...
What's worst, this problem blocks me from receiving updates from others
that I follow...

Ooops. This problem only blocks the user with the _ in his picture
file. The other users were blocked for a different reason (now solved).
