No, it was just stated in #totem channel by a developer. I didn't find
any upstream bugreport for this.

Note: according to Totem devs, this is fixed in 2.27.1 - probably this
commit:
http://git.gnome.org/cgit/totem/commit/?id=9490db5c708dbc5bb9bf482b4b596629e6cf170c
which indicates that it also needs a newer GStreamer version.
