Can you rerun ubiquity in debug mode then (ubiquity -d)? We'll need the logs from /var/log/installer/* and /var/log/syslog after doing so. Be sure to choose passwords that you dont mind being posted to the bug as they will be included in the debug logs. On Tue, May 12, 2009 at 00:31,

It looks like one of these caused the debconf to fail: - mythtv user - mythtv password - mythtv database - mythtv sql host Did any of them have non alphanumeric characters in them by chance? Or maybe spaces? -- ubiquity crashed with ValueError in command()
