Same problem as described ...
The only workaround I found was to open Freeloader, then change settings and
after having set my upload limit, then launch the first torrent ... Whenever
the client is closed, then the settings come back to 0.

Does this feature even work? For me it doesn't, the speed limit isn't
respected.
