To be accurate, yes when I say "you" I'm not suggesting you are taking any
authority or resposibility for whatever issues or problems arise from my
builds on the Ubuntu/Debian lazarus-ide package. Rather my notice to you is
informative and as a courtesy given your interest in this package.

After private communications with the reporter it turns out that the
package is from upstream Sourceforge, which declares dependencies which
are unmet on Hardy.
I am closing this bug because it has been fixed in the latest
development version of Ubuntu - the Jaunty Jackalope.
