Public bug reported:

Using latest version of Ubuntu. After logging in to OS, wireless LED on
laptop goes dead or flickers or occasionally stays lit. I can surf the
net but keep getting disconnected and have to reconnect. This can be a
major problwm, especially if i'm downloading a file as the download can
freeze at any moment. It can't be the router because I have no such
problems on Vista and I.E., also I don'y have the problem using a wired
connection with Ubuntu/Firefox. Would love to get this problwm sorted
out otherwise I have to use Vista which i would like to avoid as it's so
slow and un-user friendly.
