Public bug reported: When I launch gnome from a tightvncserver session (which is the default when you launch vncserver on Ubuntu, or if I log in to a gnome session via gdm with a -query localhost), once gnome has started, any key I press on the client is re-mapped to a completely different key. This only happens if I'm using tightvncserver. xvnc4server does not suffer from this. I also have no problems starting other desktop environments (like xface, for example.)
