Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gigolo
Package : Gigolo 0.3.0-0 & 0.3.2-1 Distro : Xubuntu Jaunty 9.04 x64 (AMD) ============================ What Is Expected: 1. Choose WebDAV (Secure) 2. Enter any combination of the following: https://abc.edu/users2/username https://abc.edu/users2/ https://abc.edu/users2 https://abc.edu/ abc.edu/users2/username abc.edu/users2/ abc.edu/users2 abc.edu 3. Enter username 4. Connect successfully ============================ What Happens Instead: I get an unauthorized error for all combinations. If I access the share via browser the login works fine. The issue is Gigolo is assuming the format is: scheme://servername/userdirectory where scheme is HTTP (80) or HTTPS (443), servername is the abc.edu, and userdirectory is the username. https://abc.edu/username will work fine since it is that format, but https://abc.edu/users2/username will not since the user home directory is a subfolder of users2 and the credentials are being supplied to the wrong folder. Gigolo has no way for me to specify a subfolder user home directory. Please correct me if I am wrong on any of this. ** Affects: gigolo (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gigolo webdav -- Gigolo Does Not Allow Subfolder User Home Directories For WebDAV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379550 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
