Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Please see this link on the forums about this problem written by me. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1009407 Summary: Out of the box pulseaudio/HAL is still not able to pick up the HDMI sink on the ATI Radeon 2600 HD pro automatically. It still requires manual configuration on install. There is a work around detailed on the forum post above hope this helps. * Please note there was an issue with my ATI graphics card driver and in an attempt to fault find i did work on the pulseaudio versions to try and fix the problem the driver was causing.
