Public bug reported: Binary package hint: psi
When running Psi, it causes Xorg to pin the CPU 80%, sometimes 90%. I've tried the latest Git and also the version from the Ubuntu repos. It did not used to be like this... it used to work fine all the time. It is since the upgrate to Jaunty, and I think it's actually after that sometime it started happening. I did not change my version of Psi in that time, but have since changed it around a bit in an attempt to fix it, but have reset to the version I was using before, all with no luck. It's odd because Psi itself doesn't end up taking much CPU (although more than it should, >10%), but rather Xorg. I know Psi is the culprit because when I close it CPU usage goes back to normal. ** Affects: psi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: performance -- Psi pins CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380079 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
