Hi, I'd forgotten I'd sent in this bug report. The issue at heart I think is KDE. I had changed the font that was used for icons in the icon view, and when using the alternative font (which actually was just the default font 1px larger), the allocated space for text was far too small. I fixe

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and help improve Ubuntu. It sounds like the issue here is the NVIDIA driver rather than anything that Ubuntu can control, so I'd recommend reporting the issue to NVIDIA or, perhaps, search the NVIDIA Linux forums (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumd
