Screen freeze also occurring when attempting to install notified available
upgrades.
ie: System>Administration>Update Manager>Starting Upgrade
Manager>Check>Password.

I do not have Advanced Desktop Effects Settings, Compiz Fusion Icon or
Desktop Effects (Compiz Setup) enabled.
