Public bug reported: The wireless cared on my Sony Vaio VGN-NR260E does not work. It worked at first with Jaunty Jackalope but then quit. I have attempted enabling the Madwifi restricted drivers but they won't allow enabling. I've tried various things in the hopes that it would work.
I have tried this: http://www.prash-babu.com/2008/12/how-to-configure- atheros-ar5007eg-or.html?showComment=1243736647145#c3701962582273958571 Where I replaced intrepid with jaunty. It worked at first and then when I rebooted failed. Something is wrong with the restricted drivers I believe as it won't let me enable it. My card works fine under Windows Vista Ultimate.
