ran gentoo. It would have made helping people with bugs sooo much
easier.

This is still the case with the latest nightlies. I used the ppa linked
to and took a screenshot of Fx3.5pre with a blank profile and no addons
installed. This is as vanilla as it gets. It is either Fx itself (builds
from mozilla.com do the same thing), or it is a bug in some library I
have install
Thank you for reporting this issue to Ubuntu. I cannot duplicate this in the
latest daily Mozilla build. Could you try it please to see if the problem
still exists?
