have the same problem, but the --verbose
sudo apt-get -f install

2 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 0B of
Somehow the problem disappeared once I edited /etc/default/hal by adding
the --verbose=yes option to the daemon. And then the problem did stay
away when removing the --verbose=yes.
It sounds like the default /etc/default/hal option has some problem,
maybe a missing end of line or something. I

Somehow the update did work when I booted in the new 2.6.31 kernel and
now there is no problem anymore. To me it seems a problem with 2.6.30,
can anyone confirm that?
