p.s. for the record, Jaunty and earlier versions are running coreutils
6.10 or older.

That's already reported/fixed upstream - report from Feb 09 with patch
is at http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-
coreutils/2009-02/msg00168.html . Long option in info page is correct,
short option is working without troubles, so just --help/man longoption
is misleading.
