I do not believe that this is a bug in CUPS, as already the print
preview of gedit shows only one page.

I am not sure how to reproduce the error. I saw the changes in synaptics-
history and tried to uninstall the packages that had been installed or
upgraded in the past week, but to no avail. Then, I saw that on the 3rd of
