Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
Hi, I bought a Sennheiser PC31 (headphone + microphone) headset and listening goes fine, however the microphone part does not work. I have tried other similar devices from friends with the same problem: microphone not working. I have gone through systèmes------------preferences-------------son (I am French, living in France) and tried all the possibities that are offered, nevertheless it still doesn't work. Can you help ? I use Ubuntu 9.04. I have dealt with a helpful "support" from Ubuntu but it still doesn't work. I have tried to plug the device both at the front of my desktop and at the back. I have screenshots of all settings if you're interested Thanks ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-sound-recorder NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: gnome-media 2.26.0-0ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-media Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- voice recording impossible https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
