This bug has to deal with the package telepathy-sofiasip. Changing to
reflect that

Same behaviour here. I am using Jaunty and Empathy from the ppa. Just by
today, sofia sip got updated through the update manger, but it didnt
change anything. I was calling empathy from my mobile phone. It works
flawlessly with Linphone and ekiga, so port settings etc. are o.k.

Tried it with the same result both on Karmic and Jaunty. The repo is
incomplete through:, I had to install telepathy-sofiasip compiled for
intrepid.
