May you please try to reproduce it with the latest Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective comments to the report

Further information: I can decrease priority of a process (specifically g-s-m) but system hung very solidly on every attempt I've made recently to increase priority (set less nice). When hung the busy/wait indicator spins and tracks mouse movement, but NOTHING ELSE responds, including mouse click
