This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

Okay, so ubuntu don't ship *.a file in dev, so I suggest to build the
package yourself to ship the *.a file inside.

I just managed to compile this xkbd-bthid by replacing libbluetooth.a with
/usr/lib/libbluetooth.so from xkbd-0.8.15_bthid/src/makefile. Let's see, if
