Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I disabled the "Activate screensaver when computer is idle" check-box in gnome-screensaver-preferences. I expected gnome-power-manager to recalculate the sliders to start at 1 minute; or I expected gpm to continue using screensaver's "...idle after" time as the base. Neither happened. screensaver's "...idle after" slider is set to 25 minutes. gpm's "On AC Power" tab's Actions and Display sliders both start at 26 minutes. gpm's "On AC Power" tab's Display slider is set to 30 minutes. After 5 minutes my display goes to sleep. It is completely ignoring the 25 minute idle limit I set and is taking the 30 minutes and subtracting the 25 minute idle time from it giving me 5 minutes before my display turns off. When can we get these two preferences on the same dialog box and actually have them work!? ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sliders do not reset when screensaver is disabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390459 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
