When having mounted a nfs
I still experience this bug like clockwork. If I forget to manually
unmount my NFS share before breaking the network connection, it
invariably brings down my entire system, forcing a restart. I would be
very grateful to anyone who can offer a solution.

My system also hangs when I disconnect from the network with an active
nfs mount. For me, the file manager hangs and it does nothing to restart
gnome. If I press restart, it gives me the option of killing file-
manager manually, after which the system restarts normally. I would
