I am trying to install yahoo instant messenger for linux. I have
downloaded the deb file. when I go to install it in the deb package
manager it says libglib1.2 not satisfiable. I am using ubuntu 8.10. I
dont know whats going on with this. alot of the people that I know say
that they are having the same problom. ALL of the messenger programs are
not working. Kopete, pidgin, sim-im. all of these dont work for yahoo
instant messenger. I have reported this bug several times and no one
seems to be paying attention. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me fix
this problom.
