Hi Ike, I don't see anything useful either. I've looked for known bugs
with UHCI controller but haven't found anything that might be causing
this, though.

Great work! And indeed a problem in the USB stack as I was thinking and
also those mouse/keyboard problems were suggesting.
It still needs a proper fix, though. Maybe the bug is caused by some
module loading order in initramfs?

David and I tried a dirty work today, Just remove uhci_hcd from
initramdisk and auto-modprobe, then insert it at /etc/rc.local
After that, Bluetooth works. Well It looks like a UHCI controller issue
now.

Hi Ike.
Have you tried when first booting to remove btusb, then reset the hub

Hi Ulisses
When suspend and resume, the btusb module did nothing. It is just
removed when the hub is suspend, and came back when hub is resumed. I
have tried to remove the btusb modules and insmod back, nothing

So, there are still two devices to trace. USB controller and USB hub.

Hi, Ike.
'hcidump -X -V' helps seeing the traffic and if you can run it on both
ends then it's even better. From those dumps you sent before I could see
nothing interesting but it's good to always have an hcidump running
along with monitoring all the other logs.
Regarding suspend/resume cycle, we
I trace for who send the connection reset command, it comes from
bluetooth chip. Everything looks reasonable when we received a
connection reset frame.
I think I shall setup another bluetooth endpoint for sniffer the
bluetooth frames. I need to make sure that frames really sent out.

Hi Ulisses
I started to trace this issue from userspace applications. After I trace

another application, maybe obex-data-server or something else, I can not
be sure.
So. I tried to find another single application to trace, I found
Ike, I don't have the hardware here (Dell BT 365) but it sure looks like
we have a difference that makes it work after suspend/resume cycle. It'd
be good see what you can find, in particular, about other userspace
parts that Intrepid have different than Jaunty.

Thanks, David. It seems you have tried everything so far.

Hi Ulisses,
Here is what I have tried:
1. hciconfig hci0 reset
2. Add option in /etc/modprobe.d/options - options btusb reset=1
3. hid2hci
4. Verified the patch in the link below is included in Intrepid kernel:

We also tried upgrading kernel and bluez packages to Jaunty version, BT
