Sorry, I have a question. I always use Pidgin (Mandriva and freebsd),
now (I'm at work) we use Ubuntu and I start to use Empathy. The problem

Yes Jubs, this is, indeed a problem. There is no way to not store your
password with Empathy. Empathy developers have known about this for some
time and have not seen fit to fix it, and for some unthinkable

In addition to Ricardo's point, I don't want anybody with physical or
root access to my *home* machine to have my *work* chat account
passwords, and vice-versa. Since (I hear) Empathy is becoming the
default chat client in Karmic, I think it's important to address this
bug before Karmic goes out,
I think this is important because what about if im in another computer,
i dont want to have stored my password and logs there.
