Do you still have this problem with the 0.4.0 rc1 version of Awn and
Awn-extras ?
You can obtain this version by one of the following ways :
- Using Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) up-to-date.
- Using the Awn-testing PPA (https://launchpad.net/~awn-testing/+archive/ppa)
and installing avant-window-navigator
in continuation to what i filed a while ago, this bug also occurs when
using any keyboard shortcut.
Avant Windows navigator (AWN) disappears After closing a window with a keyboard
shortcut (even a default one, such as Alt+F4).
First Alt+F4 makes the icons disappear, and the second one makes the
same problem EXACTLY, after completing a clean install of Karmic Beta --
fully updated.

ubuntu-b
sure.
i simply went to the 'keyboard shortcuts' in the preferences menu, and
changed the 'minimize window' to 'Alt+z' (and the same as mentioned
above with other shortcuts.. nothing through the terminal..)
simplest way IMO to do it..

Which window manager are you running?
Could you explain, in detail, how you created your keyboard shortcut?
