Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "facebook is slow"
Facebook uses a lot of javascript on its site and that might be one of the
reasons.
Have you noticed similar problems on other websites ?
If not , it is not a bug related to firef
CPU usage is approx 10%. Scrolling is very slow. When I enter text into
textboxes there is a very long lag between when I enter a key and text
appears.
It seems to be fairly faster in Opera.
I am using a NoMachine client session. I will try in non-NoMachine
session this weekend. I am pretty sure
Ok tried in a non-NoMachine session. Even slower.
Two things are slow:
1) Scrolling
2) There is a horrible horrible lag when I type text in a textbox.
Interestingly if I type in a gedit and copy paste there is no such lag.
This is not a new problem. Interestingly on another laptop that is i386
Ok I installed nvidia 185 drivers and it seems much better. So I guess
it's an nvidia bug.
