You need to get another backtrace then, the one you attached is broken,
please read http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and attach the
file to the bug report. You also need to install the libglib2,libgtk2
and totem dbgsym packages, please also tell us a few easy steps in order
to reproduce

As I indicated in the bug report.
Running totem does not cause the crash dialog to appear.
apport is not triggering but the crash is still occurring.
