It was my first attempt to use "keep".

as far as I remember it was "keep" running rdiffbackup.
/dev/mapper/vg0-backup on /var/backups type ext3 (rw)

Running rdiff-backup directly or by using the KDE program keep? (The
name of the backup destination make me think of that app) Remember your
any backup run failing recently before this error occured? What
filesystem is /var/backups/keeps?
