Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Thunderbird seems to have lost its IMAP folders and will not let me re-
type the path in the Account settings. Since the path uses "dot"
folders, they are invisible when I try to browse to the folder even
though I have enabled the viewing of hidden files on the system. This
serious limitation appears to be a design bug or at least the ability to
type or paste in the path needs to be added.
