The branding cannot be changed in Jaunty as it's a stable release.
Karmic will have the official Firefox branding for Firefox 3.5.

similar issue with firefox-3.5 installed from the
ttp://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-security/ppa/ubuntu PPA: The
Firefox branding is missing. Instead the Shiretoko branding is being
