this was fixed in recent karmic uploads. we nest not likely APs in a
submenu while keeping a good choice of 5/6 entries on top level.

nm-applet rewrite - NetworkManager displays too many APs in applet leading to
not sure if this can be done in karmic timeframe, but we are looking
into improving the applet in a way that would show only known and the
best unknown APs around.
