Public bug reported: When I first started testing karmic (amd64 on a Thinkpad X300) it was using 2.6.30 and I noticed the GNOME Bluetooth preferences had killswitch tickboxes for my thinkpad's onboard bluetooth adapter, and they were able to correctly control the power state of the device.
