Public bug reported:

When I first started testing karmic (amd64 on a Thinkpad X300) it was
using 2.6.30 and I noticed the GNOME Bluetooth preferences had
killswitch tickboxes for my thinkpad's onboard bluetooth adapter, and
they were able to correctly control the power state of the device.

In 2.6.31 this is no longer the case - ticking the boxes has no effect.
