I've not had any issues for the last two weeks. Initially I thought it was a low signal issue and I recabled the route from the antenna and bought a strength meter to check, my siganl is good and has low noise. I think my issue was to do with multiple capture cards in the mythtv database. I

About the options file: yes, either options.conf or any other file in /etc/modprobe.d with a .conf extension. IIRC the newer module tools enforce the extension. You should be able to verify whether it was accepted by looking into /sys/modules/dvb-usb/parameters/disable_rc_polling -- Upgrade to

i am using karmic amd64 with all updates installed and the nova-t stick (mt2060 hardware) it shows the same errors. With 8.04 everything worked (after installing v4l firmware) I would be happy to help with any more info you need (proposed kernel etc, different firmware etc) -- Upgrade to 2.6.28
