Public bug reported: In just so many words, plasma-desktop is reported too cause too many wakeups/sec to be acceptable for laptop use. This is from a completely idle session. KDE version is 4.3RC2 from Karmic. System is an Asus N20A (core 2 duo, all intel gm45).
