Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Pressed extract button by accident then opened up cd tray manually on side of labtop program froze then crashed. Obviously the program was attempting to extract data from the cd before the cd was removed. To save such issue from happening again maybe you can code in your program to check if cd tray is being opened and cancel any operations. Im using ubuntu 9.04 with an acer 5315-2492 labtop 2.13ghz celeron processor, 1gb of ram, 160gb hdd, dvd-Super Multi DL ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox Package: rhythmbox 0.12.0-0ubuntu4 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: rhythmbox Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic i686 ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Press Extract Button on menu then push open cd tray on labtop program freezes then crashes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398165 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
