Public bug reported:

hw not working: CREATIVE X-Fi Surround 5.1 USB
driver for device: snd_usb_audio

what should work:

1clear sound,
2 infrared remote control and hardware volume control button,
3 no volume control
4. device works with full speed, which is according specification USB 1.0 
speed, it should be high speed USB 2.0.

what's the problem:

1sound has pops and cracks few times per second.

2 remote control in this sound card is not implemented in driver, so no HID 
device is found, I tried it with lirc and driver usbaudio, but it didn't work.
3. no mixer
4. USB 1.0 speed prevents special features like surround and crystalizer to work

this was built from latest unstable source(tried also stable).

x-fi provided some Open source drivers, but only for PCI x-fi cards.
