I have the exact same problem here, I need help on this.
I'm using XFX nforce 630i / 7100
and I'm using the integrated graphics chip.
Tried every thing i could think of, but no results here, I'm back now to Ubuntu

mine is similar except the mouse is not active and it doesn't work if I
reconfigure, nothing changes, if I do restart of the X Server the screen
flashes and with the tty view and then returns to the tty

I can confirm this. The display flashes and then usually only the mouse
is active, everything else is dead. No useful logs. I try to
reconfiugre xorg and nvidia-packages and run nvidia-xconfig. Usually
after some reboots it works for the day but reappears with the next
reboot.

Could someone please help me with this?, because it is very irritating I
can't use my computer at the moment because I need this driver, I know I
could use the regular drivers that don't allow OpenGL or Compiz, but I
need them. (This was sent from a different computer).
