Michael can you please file a bug against gcc for the thunderbird build
failures with 4.4? I am not sure we want to back this out before thats
fixed.

ok both are done, now using default GCC GCC++ i have asked for a merge
into branch Alex uses for tbird and will ping him about sunbird for
review
