Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Version: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: 0.12.0-0ubuntu4

Hello - The XF86Forward, XF86Back and XF86AudioPlay buttons recently
stopped working on Rhythmbox. This might be do to one of the last few
security updates that have been released via Ubuntu.

When I start rhythmbox with the -d option, I can see that the keys are
being captured...they just aren't being responded to correctly.

Forward should be skipping to the next track while a song is playing, what I am
seeing instead is this:

 (20:13:32) [0x1270500] [window_focus_cb] rb-mmkeys-plugin.c:142: window
got focus, re-grabbing media keys

The "dbus --session --monitor" command returns this:

method call sender=:1.147 -> dest=:1.11 serial=66
path=/org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/MediaKeys;
interface=org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.MediaKeys; member=GrabMediaPlayerKeys
   string "Rhythmbox"
   uint32 0
method return sender=:1.11 -> dest=:1.147 reply_serial=66

As far as I can see, it is getting the message, just being ignored. Any ideas?
