I have a workaround :) 1. run gconf-editor 2. on the left open desktop -> gnome -> peripherals -> touchpad 3. on the right, mark the box tap_to_click 4. enjoy the tapping But why this in unchecked by default??? In System -> Options -> Mouse on the tab Touchpad I have enabled click by tap -- cl
