Have you checked that your volume is unmuted and turne dup? affects ubuntu/alsa-driver status incomplete ** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- No sound from any application after upgrading to Jaunty. I am using Dell Studio.
