I too assume that the reason ist a package that has recently been
updated and maybe now have broken the functionality of Me TV Version:
0.5.17 in Hardy Heron.
I would be very happy about the possibility of a backported version to Hardy.

I've unfortunately come to the conclusion that there is just too much
diversion between Hardy & Jaunty in respect to GTK and similar
dependencies. It is not wise to attempt to update the main core versions
as it will no doubt break your ubuntu. I realise that Hardy is a LTS but
in this case it just
