Just updated to the newest Kernal and still have to use the old kernal. I try
to boot with the newest kernal and it locks up just after I tell it to load.
Does anyone have an idea as to why I can not use the newest kernals to boot my
laptop? Please let me know.

I'd like to verify I have the same laptop model and 2.6.28-14 also
freezes after the Starting Up ... message.
