At least since Hardy no import of images from camera with usb possible.
At first I thought it is a problem with my old (now broken) Canon Ixus,
but the problem is still the same with new Fuji Finepix S2000HD.

gphoto2 -L works on console as root
all access as user fails (gtkam, digicam, f-spot, gphoto2).
